10 days and 24 books! Summer at St. George’s Book Publisher Camp Comes to an End!

Summer camp is done for another couple of weeks! It was amazing, inspiring (and strangely not as exhausting as I thought it might be) to create ANOTHER 24 books in just two weeks at St. George’s with students ages 9-14. Their stories were very inspirational and I learned so much from them! There was non-fiction about water and Boeing jets, goth novels with vampires zombies and ghosts and a strange but creative story themed around bullying where a savoury pie (Shepherd’s) gets bullied by the sweet pies such as Huckleberry. It takes Chicken Pot Pie to come in and save the day…that was after the scene where the teacher, who was a cream pie, melted because one of her students spilled  hot coffee on her. What a couple of weeks! Here are some of the covers and illustrations that students created.
